Bell’s Palsy

Bell’s palsy causes sudden weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles, usually on one side of the face. It’s often temporary and resolves with treatment.

Symptoms :

  • Drooping of one side of the face
  • Difficulty closing the eye on the affected side
  • Loss of taste sensation

Causes :

  • Viral infections
  • Inflammation of the facial nerve

Treatment Options :

  • Corticosteroids to reduce inflammation
  • Eye care to prevent dryness
  • Physical therapy to restore muscle function
